Mument Terms of Use / End User License Agreement

Effective date: July 31, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of Mument. By creating an account or using Mument, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. Using Mument

You may use Mument only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Mument app and service for their intended purpose.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

Mument does not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. You may not upload, post, share, or encourage content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, violent, illegal, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable.

2. Your content and rights

You retain ownership of the photos, captions, comments, profile information, and other content that you create and upload to Mument. You are responsible for that content and confirm that you own it or have all rights, permissions, and consents necessary to upload and share it. This includes permission from people depicted in your content where required.

To operate Mument, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, process, format, back up, display, and distribute your content only as needed to provide, secure, moderate, maintain, and improve the service, and in accordance with your sharing settings. This licence ends when your content is deleted from our active systems, except where it has already been shared with other users, is retained in routine backups for a limited period, or must be retained by law.

We do not claim ownership of your content. We will not use it for advertising, sell it, or license it to third parties for their independent use unless you separately agree.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not upload or share content that infringes another person's copyright, privacy, personality rights, or other rights; contains unlawful material; impersonates another person; or otherwise violates these Terms. You must not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, or use Mument for illegal activity.

4. Moderation, reporting, and blocking

We may review, filter, restrict, remove, or disable access to content that violates these Terms or applicable law. The app provides tools to report objectionable content and block abusive users. We aim to review valid reports within 24 hours and may remove offending content or suspend or terminate the account responsible.

5. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that create, share, or promote prohibited content or abusive behaviour, or otherwise create risk or legal exposure for Mument or others. You may stop using Mument and request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Service availability and changes

Mument may change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the updated version on this page and revise its effective date. Continued use of Mument after the effective date means that you accept the updated Terms, where permitted by law.

8. Governing law

Swiss law governs these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection law that applies to you.
